Overview

Adobe needed a working prototype to demonstrate how one scalable platform could modernize thousands of government websites while improving both citizen experiences and backend content operations.
I helped turn that vision into a clickable, developer-ready prototype in three days instead of the typical two to three weeks.
The problem
Government users were navigating complexity on both sides of the system.
Citizens often encounter outdated interfaces, difficult navigation, broken forms, and inaccessible information.
Government employees face a different problem: complex content-management systems that require significant training and manual effort.
The design challenge was to show how one platform could improve both experiences without sacrificing accessibility or scalability.
Design strategy
Use AI for speed. Keep design judgment human.
I used an AI-assisted workflow across v0, VS Code, GitHub Copilot, and Figma to establish the prototype foundation quickly, then focused design time on the decisions that required human judgment.
That included:
Simplifying hierarchy
Reduced competing CTAs and clarified content priority.
Improving consistency
Resolved typography and interaction inconsistencies across flows.
Designing within federal standards
Researched and applied USWDS accessibility patterns throughout the prototype.
Refining the experience
Adjusted terminology, navigation, and content so the prototype felt credible within a healthcare and government context.
From concept to working experience
The prototype expanded into multiple connected flows, including provider search, appointment scheduling, and healthcare content modules.
Impact
A pitch concept that behaved like a real product.
